Terms & Conditions

1. Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lucid Mastery. By creating an account you confirm that you are. The service is operated from, and governed by the laws of, the United Kingdom.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since we sign you in by magic link and/or federated login. Do not share your account or let others use it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• cheat, scrape, or attempt to extract our scenarios and question bank in bulk;
• resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the service or its content;
• abuse, harass, or disrupt the service, other users, or our infrastructure;
• attempt to bypass the freemium limits, payment, or security controls.

4. Subscriptions & payment

• Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and auto-renew until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial months or unused time.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Intellectual property

Your content is yours. Any notes or data you create remain yours, and you keep ownership of your progress data. Our content is ours. The scenarios, questions, explanations, software, and branding are owned by Lucid Mastery and protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation only.

6. Educational disclaimer

Lucid Mastery is a study aid. We do not guarantee any exam result. Our content is original and designed to build competency in the CRISC domains; it is not official exam material.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for exam outcomes, loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

8. Trademark disclaimer

Lucid Mastery is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ISACA®. CRISC is a registered trademark of ISACA. All references are for descriptive, educational purposes only.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in-app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service. On termination, the licence in section 5 ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, liability) continue.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
